Clinton George Prentice Jr

The following are the sons of Clinton G. Prentice and Ella Tracey of Rockford, Il.

CLINTON G. PRENTICE Jr, 77 LOS ANGELES,CA. Clinton G. Prentice died suddenly Friday, Jan. 14, 2004 from complications of pneumonia. He was born June 5, 1927 to Clinton G. and Ella (Tracey) Prentice. Clinton attended Rockford Il. Schools, graduating in 1945 from East High, where he played basketball and football and was active in dramatics. He graduated from Goodman School of Drama of the Art Institute of Chicago in 1950. Clinton appeared in several television dramas broadcast live from New York in the early 1950's. He moved to 1955 in Los Angeles, where he served as welfare administrator for Los Angeles for 27 years. He was past president of the Nat'l Rehabilitation Association So. California Chapter and was very active in the Epilepsy Society. Survivors include his wife, Diane (Diem) Prentice, daughter Amanda (Michael) De Francesco; son Jonathon Prentice and former wife, Abbie Prentice all of California; sister, Joyce (Marshall) Taylor; and numerous nieces and nephews in Arizona. Predeceased by parents; brother, George Prentice and numerous aunts and uncles in the Rockford area. Clint was ever an optimistic, a fiercely loyal Cubs fan whose license plates read "CUBS 45" The memories of his devotion to his family and lifelong friends in Rockford will always be cherished. Memorial service and interment of cremations will be at a later date in Rockford. Memorials in his honor may be made to USC/ Norris Cancer Center 1441 Eastlake Ave, Los Angeles Ca 90033
