Ella E.
Prentice, 90, 6824 E. Earl Drive, Scottsdale, AZ, died at 9:15 a.m., Monday,
November 7, 1983, en route to the hospital after a long illness. Born August
16, 1893, in Rockford, daughter of George and Mary Ellen Trace. Married to the
former Clinton G. Prentice in Elgin on Nov. 7, 1915. Employed as office manager
by Blue Banner Insurance Co. for 10 years. Member of Christ the Carpenter
Church. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Marshal (Joyce) Taylor, Scottsdale;
a son, Clint, Los Angeles; 13 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a
great-great grandchild and many nieces and nephews. Graveside services at 2
p.m. Saturday, Nov. 12 in Kishwaukee Cemetery with the Rev. Elmer Sandburg,
pastor of Loves Park Evangelical Free Church, officiated. Arrangements by
JULIAN-POORMAN FUNERAL HOME. No visitation. |
