Smith Samuel Prentice 5306 East Drive, Loves Park died at noon Friday Feb. 14, 1964 in Lakeland, Fl where he had spent the last week. Born in Kishwaukee community. Son of Orville Prentice. Lived entire life in Rockford. Married to the former Frieda L. Taylor in Rockford. He was a partner in Citywide Delivery Service. Survivors include his widow Frieda; two sons Donald, Tucson, Az. And Eugene, Lakeland, Fl.; three grandchildren; three brothers, Leo, Clinton, and Stewart and one sister Zella Queen, Chicago. Buried Kishwaukee Cemetery |
