Smith born 12/21/1881 died 1935 STEWART BURDETTE PRENTICE, 81 ROCKFORD, Il. Stewart B. Prentice 722 Seminary St. died at 10 pm Sunday Sept 6, 1987 in Alpine Fireside Healthcare Center after a long illness. Born May 1, 1906 in Kishwaukee community. Son of Orville I and Caroline Smith Prentice. Lived most of his life in Rockford. Married the former Hazel Bliss in Dubuque, Ia. May 5, 1929. She died Dec. 14, 1983. Employed as a supervisor at Atwood Vacuum Machine, Co and Gen'l Glesire Supply House retiring in 1968. Survived by several nieces and nephews. Buried at Kishwaukee Cemetery They had two sisters: Ella born 1885 died 1887 and Zella Loretta born 1904. The only information on her is from the brother's obituaries that show her last name as Queen and residing in Chicago and later in Lakeland, Fl. |
